Goofy & Pluto, set 40378, arrived in my collection on 2 January 2021 together with other figures released the previous year. LEGO released it in 2020 as another step in expanding the Disney part of the BrickHeadz series, right next to 40377 Donald Duck, which I’ve already written about here. This time we get two characters in one box: Goofy in his classic green hat and orange vest, and Pluto with his distinctive green collar. Together that makes 214 pieces.

Building both figures went quickly for me, because the construction is fairly typical for the series. Pluto gave me the most joy, because the low silhouette of a four-legged dog forced the designers to use small tricks to keep the BrickHeadz proportions, and you can see that in the finished model. Goofy also turned out great, in my opinion. I put the whole set next to 40377, which makes a nice little corner of classic Disney on my shelf. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates these older Disney figures.
