Frankenstein 40422 is figure number 111 in the BrickHeadz series. LEGO released it in 2020 in a version bearing the Universal Pictures Monsters logo, and it has 108 pieces. It joined my collection on 2 January 2021, in a group of several sets I bought at the time in a single order. The character draws on the classic film image of the monster: grey skin, dark hair, stitches on the forehead and bolts in the neck.

The build went quickly, as with any small BrickHeadz, but a few details caught my attention. I liked the neck bolts most, made from separate pieces so that they clearly stick out beyond the silhouette. The stitches on the forehead are well marked too, and the dark outfit with white accents makes the figure look like a character from classic horror cinema. I put it on the shelf next to the Halloween Ghost 40351, where it fits the mood best.
