The Nutcracker is set 40425, which LEGO released in 2020 as BrickHeadz number 112. It joined my collection on 19 August 2021, and I bought it directly from the LEGO Store. For me it is another Christmas touch in the collection after Mr. & Mrs. Claus 40274, this time in the form of a classic winter nutcracker figure. The box holds 180 pieces, and alongside the figure itself we get a few small Christmas extras on the base.

The build went smoothly: for 180 pieces it’s a job of half an hour at most. The figure itself is brilliantly designed, as the tall black shako, white beard and red uniform with gold details tell you straight away that this is a classic nutcracker. What pleases me most, though, is the base, with a small Christmas tree with baubles and a few colourful presents, so the whole set looks like a miniature Christmas scene. On my shelf 40425 stands with the rest of my winter BrickHeadz, because this seasonal collection looks best when displayed as a group.
