Set 40630 depicts two iconic characters from Middle-earth, Frodo and Gollum, in the classic BrickHeadz style. It is the first time the heroes of “The Lord of the Rings” have appeared in this form, which has certainly delighted many fans.

Frodo looks very good: his cloak made of curved pieces, the printed brooch and the added sword and ring make it absolutely clear who we are dealing with. The attention to detail and well-chosen colours make it a really successful figure.
Gollum, on the other hand… stirs mixed feelings. On the one hand, it is good that the difference in height was taken into account, and the fish in his hand is a fun touch. On the other, his face lacks any expression at all. He is missing the distinctive features that make Gollum one of the most memorable characters in the whole trilogy. As a result he looks more like a side figure than a fully fledged hero of the set.
