Set 40631 is another instalment of the BrickHeadz series inspired by the world of “The Lord of the Rings”. This time LEGO pays tribute to one of the most memorable scenes from “The Fellowship of the Ring”: Gandalf’s confrontation with the Balrog on the bridge in Moria.

Gandalf has been portrayed with great attention to detail: the distinctive grey cloak, pointed hat, staff and the sword Glamdring create a coherent and recognisable silhouette of the wizard. His beard and hat are built from curved pieces, which adds depth and character to the figure.
The Balrog, in turn, stands out from other BrickHeadz figures with its massive construction and intense colours. The black and red colours, the flames and the whip built from red elements capture its fiery nature. However, some point out that despite its impressive look, the Balrog lacks certain details that would make it more recognisable and faithful to the original.
