Together with the big Goblet of Fire 5-pack, on 1 September 2025 LEGO is releasing a second, smaller set from the autumn Wizarding World wave: 40802 Luna Lovegood & Thestral Figures. A brand new announcement I’ve been waiting for a long time, because Luna has finally got her own BrickHeadz figure.
The box holds 292 pieces, and the recommended price in Poland is PLN 89.99. Inside are two figures: Luna Lovegood in her classic outfit and a Thestral, the winged skeletal horse known to fans of Order of the Phoenix.
For me this is an interesting moment: Luna debuts as a standalone BrickHeadz figure, and the Thestral is the first magical creature from the Wizarding World universe in this series. Together with the Hungarian Horntail dragon from Goblet of Fire they make an interesting pair of the first magical creatures in HP BrickHeadz.
I expect the two-pack to sell well. Luna has an army of fans, and the Thestral is a touch that brings freshness to the series.
