41612 Steve and Creeper joined my collection on 12 September 2021. They’re the duo numbered 58 and 59 from 2018, the only representatives of the Minecraft universe in the BrickHeadz series at the time.

The 160 pieces are split between two different figures. Many consider Steve the dullest build in the whole BrickHeadz series, which paradoxically makes sense, because the Minecraft character is literally a textbook blocky mannequin and the BrickHeadz format doesn’t need to add anything. Creeper saves the day a bit with a unique leg technique, in which one foot is deliberately tilted upwards and can’t be straightened without spoiling the balance. The set also includes mysterious 1x2 bricks with printed TNT, a small easter egg for fans of the game. The whole colour scheme is the classic Minecraft palette: Steve in a mix of colours, Creeper all in green.
