BrickHeadz promotional campaign from 2017

This is another piece of news from the “it needs writing down or it will be lost” series. So, at the end of 2017, somewhere around Comic-Con New York, LEGO decided to give away special boxes of BrickHeadz sets. According to the information I found, there were only 15 boxes, and they went to selected influencers. I found two of those people myself, and I’m including the videos of their presentations below. You can’t help noticing that the two boxes have different contents. One contains set 41498 from the Comic-Con 2017 I mentioned, while the other has four other BrickHeadz sets that were available at the time instead. It would be very hard to verify the information about those 15 copies and answer whether each box came in 15 copies or that’s the total number, and whether they were all given away at roughly the same time, so let’s leave it there. Personally, it’s enough for me to know that something like this happened 🙂

It’s also worth mentioning that the presenter of the first video, Tyrone Magnus, received two of these sets and gave one away to a fan, which you can watch here.
