I’ve been good at counting since I was a child, but I don’t think I can count the Star Wars sets in BrickHeadz 🙂 Some are happy about it, others sad, and today I’m simply noting that we’ll soon have another 5 interesting figures.
18 May (the release is 1 May after all). That’s probably the date when set number 40796 will hit the shop shelves. And by the way, there’s a lot to suggest that on the same day we’ll also be able to buy the set 40795 Luke Skywalker (Rebel Pilot), which I wrote about earlier.
The set has been named “Revenge of the Sith Heroes & Villains” and consists of 5 figures and exactly 656 bricks. The set includes:
Padmé Amidala
Anakin Skywalker
General Grievous
Emperor Palpatine
Mace Windu
Judge for yourselves whether the set looks attractive. I have no doubt that the most comments will be about the General Grievous figure, which could probably have looked more attractive and closer to the original, though at the expense of the rules that apply in BrickHeadz. This time LEGO decided to stick to those rules (and as we know, that isn’t always the case), which will probably be criticised by some fans. And if you read what I write carefully, you can guess that I too would have preferred the designers to allow themselves a bit more freedom.
