On 17 July set number 40748 Batman 8 in 1 launched. Then a rumour appeared that LEGO was preparing the same set for us in a special version, and we had plenty of guesses about whether it was really true and, if so, how we would be able to get our hands on it. Today we know the details: the set is available in the LEGO Insiders programme.
Exactly two months after the launch of the standard set, LEGO published information on its website about the limited version, with its own number, 40726. To get it you will need a LEGO Insiders account (that part is easy) and it costs 3000 points (not everyone can manage that part). On top of that you will have to make some (any) purchase on the LEGO website, and our limited set will be added to it.
The process goes like this. We take our hard-earned points and redeem them on this page. We get a code, which has to be used with our next LEGO purchase. The code is valid for 60 days, so there is plenty of time, but you still have to fit within that window.
The contents are the standard set, new packaging, 8 posters and a comic.
It is not known how many sets are available.
