Today the official announcement of set number 40750: Wednesday & Enid appeared on the LEGO websites. And the latest leaks about what it looks like turned out to be a hoax.
This set remained a mystery for a very long time. The first rumours about it appeared late, basically nothing was known, and until recently everyone expected that if it appeared at all, it would be just one figure. A week ago a photo even appeared on Instagram that supposedly showed the future figures, which, as we now know, turned out to be untrue.
By the way, for some time now I’ve had the impression that LEGO has taken some steps to clamp down on leaks. Because let me remind you that in previous years, as early as the summer, we had very reliable information about the new sets expected the following year, and now it’s the middle of September and there’s silence.
But back to the set based on the popular Netflix series: we now know everything we need to. Set number 40750 will contain two figures, it will be available from 1 October and we’ll get 239 pieces. I’d call it decent, it probably won’t stir up much excitement for most people, but personally I’m glad it’s not yet another HP figure or some Marvel superhero 😉
