LEGO 40441 Shorthair Cats is a set from the BrickHeadz Pets wave, which LEGO released in 2021. The box holds two figures: an adult cat marked with number 120 and a kitten with number 121, 250 bricks in total. It joined my collection on 1 June 2022, and I bought it directly from the LEGO Store.

The build went smoothly and without surprises, as the cats don’t need any special techniques. The best element is the shared base with bowls and paw prints, which saves the whole set from complete banality. Kitten 121 keeps its proportions relative to the adult cat. I put both cats next to 40442 Goldfish, because it’s the only sensible neighbour from the same wave, and together they make a little pet corner.
