BrickHeadz as part of Employee Branding? A brilliant idea!

Employee Branding, without going into detail, is the behaviour of your employees that promotes your company as a great place to work. That is of course a completely oversimplified definition, but that’s not what this article is about 🙂

In 2018 the people at Dunning, Kruger & Associates came up with the idea of making personalised BrickHeadz figures the Christmas presents for the company’s employees. As they say themselves, it took them 300 hours of work, they took more than 3000 photos and bought 35,000 LEGO pieces for the purpose (mainly 41597: Go Brick Me sets, but not only). The result of all this was 45 figures, one for each employee. What’s more, they also made personalised boxes and instructions!

I have to admit it’s astonishing how much work they put into this project. They did it perfectly and achieved a stunning result. Apart from huge satisfaction and what was surely a very warm reception of the presents by the employees, they were also recognised publicly, because they won the EB Kreator award in the “Best Internal Employee Branding” category.

I also recommend the article published on bardzohr.pl, where you’ll find many more details about the idea and how it was carried out. What’s more, you’ll find some great photos there showing the process and the results. Recommended!

Finally, you can watch a promotional video that gives a bit of an insight into the whole process of preparing the figures.
