The New Year has arrived, so we’re back to regular news about new BrickHeadz sets. Today some of you bought set 40673: Spring Festival Mickey Mouse (me included!), and lego.pl already has details of all the sets planned for February.
The rumours have been confirmed: on 1 February as many as 4 BrickHeadz sets will be released.
The set that will probably stir up the most excitement is set number 40670: Iron Spider-Man. So far Spider-Man has appeared in our series only once, in set number 41497, released in a very limited run in 2017 and available at the special San Diego Comic-Con event. Hardly anyone can afford to buy it now, the prices make your head spin. That’s why I’m really happy that we’ll get this character in our hands again. The set will consist of 91 pieces.
The second new set we’ll be able to buy on 1 February is 40671: Potted Groot. We already got this character in set 41626, as a grown-up. He’s of course a very likeable hero, but I hope nobody at LEGO comes up with the idea of making yet another Groot set, because there isn’t much more you can do with him here. The set will contain 113 pieces.
The third set is two figures from the Sonic series. I’m talking about set 40672: Sonic the Hedgehog™: Knuckles & Shadow. It complements sets number 40627 and 40628 from last year. Together the figures will be made of 298 pieces.
And finally, set number 40674: Stitch. This charming little creature is another set that comes from the collaboration between LEGO and Disney. We’ll have 152 pieces at our disposal.
