This time we’re getting the first leaks about the upcoming 2024 sets exceptionally early. Let’s not treat them as certainties, something here is probably wrong, but on the other hand experience shows that this is usually quite reliable information.
January 2024
Update 2023-11-08
Everything is known now, we have full data, photos etc.
40673: Disney Lunar New Year
Nothing more is known.
February 2024
Update 2024-01-02
All the February sets have now been revealed, you’ll find the details here.
40670: Iron Spider-Man
Marvel superheroes are coming back to BrickHeadz. For most of us this will be the first chance to add Spider-Man to our collection, because so far we could only get him in set number 41497, which only a lucky few own.
40671: Potted Groot
We already have Groot in BrickHeadz, in set number 41626. However, it launched in 2018 and today it’s impossible to get that set at a reasonable price. We’ll see how LEGO manages to portray this hero in such an unusual form as a seedling in a pot 😉
40672: something from the Sonic series
Apparently it’s going to be a set from the Sonic series, but that’s not certain. The price we should expect is €20 and it’s supposed to be a two-pack.
Update 2023-12-24
Everything suggests the set will include Shadow and Knuckles.
40674: Disney
Nothing more is known apart from the fact that it’s supposed to be some Disney-licensed set.
Update 2023-12-10
Apparently the hero of this set will be Stitch.
March 2024
Update 2024-02-02
We now know all the details of this set.
40677: Harry Potter
Another set from the Harry Potter series awaits us, this time titled “Prisoner of Azkaban”. And to be honest, I think it’s already too much. I like HP, but we already have over 20 of these figures! And here a suggested price of around $50 points to a big set.
Most sources say we should expect this set in March 2024, but in one place I came across a May date.
May 2024
Update 2024-04-20
LEGO has revealed the details of both set 40675 with Commander Cody and set 40676 with as many as six figures.
40675: Star Wars
Star Wars, that’s all we know for now.
Update 2024-01-01
Reports have appeared that it will be a figure of Commander Cody from The Clone Wars. We’ll get 147 pieces.
40676: Star Wars
One more Star Wars set, apparently based on The Phantom Menace.
Update 2024-02-13
We have information about the characters, although the reports contradict each other. Two lists are circulating online.
The first is: Jar Jar Binks, Darth Maul, Queen Amidala, Captain Panaka and Luke Skywalker.
The second is: Jar Jar Binks, Darth Maul, Queen Amidala, Qui-Gon, Anakin in his podracing outfit and Captain Panaka.
It’s hard to say which list is more reliable, we have to be patient. In total we’re supposed to get 732 pieces.
June 2024
Update 2024-05-02
Photos of all the announced sets have now appeared.
40749: Joy, Sadness & Anxiety
The heroes of the Pixar film “Inside Out 2”. A full 300 pieces.
40751: Legolas & Gimli
One more set for the Lord of the Rings collection, this time made of 297 pieces.
40752: Carl, Russell & Kevin
Good news for fans of Disney’s Up. In total we’re supposed to get 308 pieces.
40753: Mirabel Madrigal
Another Disney set, this time from the film Encanto. 179 pieces.
July 2024
Update 2024-07-04
We have all the information, both about Iron Man and about the Batman set.
40669: Iron Man MK5
Another Iron Man, this time 101 pieces. Many people will certainly be glad to see a Marvel character return, but counting Comic-Con it will be the fourth figure of this character. Enough already!
40748: Batman 8 in 1
For now this set is a big unknown, and it’s not even certain it will be BrickHeadz. We’re supposed to have 325 pieces to work with, and it might be something like the Bride and Groom sets, where we can build many versions of the same character (as the name suggests, as many as 8).
October 2024
Update 2024-09-13
Official information has appeared about 40750: Wednesday & Enid.
Update 2024-09-17
Brite Bomber confirmed.
40750: Wednesday & Enid
We’re in for a figure of the main character of the Netflix series, made of 239 pieces.
Update 2024-09-05
A rumour has appeared that it will be a double set, and just as we knew about Wednesday before, Enid now joins her. More info probably soon.
40664: Fortnite
According to the rumours, it’s supposed to be a set dedicated to the game Fortnite. Nothing more is known.
40665: Fortnite
Same as above.
40728: Brite Bomber from Fortnite
I’m writing these words on 2 September 2024. Until now the set with this number was expected to be a GWP (Gift with Purchase), meaning a set we get for free when we make a bigger purchase, either of a specific set or above a certain amount. Now rumours have appeared that it might be a BrickHeadz with the Brite Bomber character from the Fortnite series after all. We should soon find out how much truth there is in this.
December 2024
Update 2024-11-04
We now know all the details of set number 40668.
40668: Super Heroes
Only the number of pieces is known, there will be 202 of them.
Update 2024-07-13
New information suggests it will be a two-pack tied to the film scheduled for release in 2025, titled Captain America: Brave New World
40793: Tom & Jerry
That’s all we know for now. On the other hand, what more could you want 🙂
No date
40666: Animal Crossing
A new series is heading to BrickHeadz, one that LEGO already announced earlier in “normal” sets. I’m not happy about it, just as I wasn’t happy about the BrickHeadz Pets sets, but I understand that the youngest fans are also fans of our series.
So far there’s no information at all about this set.
40667: Animal Crossing
The second set from the Animal Crossing series, no other information.
