At last! There hadn’t been a single new announcement for over a month. Today set 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes landed in my hands and there’s already a built R2D2 standing on my shelf, while there were still no details about what LEGO has in store for us next. And finally here they are, the first photos of the new sets. They make a stunning impression on me!
I first posted information that new BrickHeadz from the Harry Potter universe might come to market on 13 January. The rumour spoke of six figures in total. Today we have confirmation of those revelations, and the photos that are already available look downright phenomenal.

40616: Harry Potter & Cho Chang
40617: Draco Malfoy & Cedric Diggory
40618: Kingsley Shacklebolt & Nymphadora Tonks
The January rumour said we could expect these sets in August, but today we know from LEGO itself that the launch will be on 1 June. Each of them will be available for PLN 89.99.
I can’t stop myself from writing once more that I’m delighted with these sets, and I’m convinced we can expect very high sales. In fact, I already wrote about this when summing up set number 41615 Harry Potter & Hedwig: LEGO sets from this universe can break popularity records.
What’s coming next? Not much is known. All the leaks have dried up, and all we have left is to work with set numbers, without any details. Apparently two sets will launch in September: number 40627 (piece count: 139) and 40628 (piece count: 131) (Update 2023-07-23: we now know these are figures from the Sonic universe). I could also mention the set dedicated to Real Madrid footballers, but that rumour is based more on logic and guesswork than on reliable information. And that’s it, we don’t know anything more at the moment.
